 Ozark Riverview Manor Ozark Riverview Manor is a 90-resident skilled nursing home located in Ozark. It was constructed in 1991. They also have an attached residential care home, Riverview Residential Place. The skilled portion has 42 semi-private rooms and six private rooms. The residential care portion is licensed for 45 residents; however, they primarily rent private rooms so they typically have about 21 residents. Click on the above link to read more.

Medicalodges Nevada

Medicalodges, Nevada Medicalodges Nevada is 100-resident Medicare/Medicaid certified skilled nursing home.  The building was constructed in 1967 and has the typical floor plan of a nursing home built at that time.  Medicalodges Nevada is very involved in the culture change movement.  Administrator Susan Houser is the MC5 (Missouri’s culture change coalition) Route 71 Regional Coordinator.  All department heads and some CNA’s are also involved with MC5.  All department heads are required to utilize the Artifacts of Culture Change tool to monitor their culture change progress. McLarney Manor

McLarney Manor – McLarney Manor is a 60 resident Medicare/Medicaid certified skilled nursing home located in Brookfield.  McLarney is actively involved in culture change.  They have a culture change committee that includes residents.  Administrator Tammie Henderson serves as the MC5 (Missouri’s culture change coalition) Regional Coordinator for the Northeast region of the state.  She took me on a tour of the home just before an MC5 meeting that was being held there.  Click on the above link to read more.

Life Care Center of Brookfield

Life Care Center of Brookfield -Life Care Center of Brookfield – Life Care Center of Brookfield, is a Medicare/Medicaid certified home that is licensed for 120 residents.  The home was built in the early 1980’s with the typical institutional floor plan from that era.  However, they are making significant efforts to accommodate residents’ individual needs and preferences and to make “home” for the individuals who live there.  Click on the link above to read more.
