Transforming the culture of care and support doesn’t stop with how we live – it’s also about how we die. As change agents, we have much to learn about the art of supporting a meaningful death experience from end-of-life doulas. Once reserved to describe individuals who assist birthing mothers, the word “doula” now also applies to those who support the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of the dying. Join in conversation with two passionate end-of-life doulas and explore how their unique wisdom and practices strengthen the goals of person-directed care. Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance.
