“Whooo Are You???”
This month’s poster urges staff to approach each resident who has dementia with a familiar greeting EVERY TIME they interact with them. This is necessary because residents with dementia may not recognize their daily care givers even though they interact with them almost constantly. Please use this poster to stimulate discussion among direct care staff to help them learn more verbal and physical clues and to encourage their use.
