The Department of Mental Health has issued a memo to skilled nursing facility providers advising them of opportunities that will be available to individuals with behavioral health conditions through behavioral health providers. Behavioral health providers will be connected with residents who have a qualifying behavioral health condition and been approved for short-term nursing home placement through the Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review process.
